Cyrus Kalcos

"No one’s allowed to die till I say so."

Backstory

A bastard of a noble he was accepted and raised as a true son unbenounced to himself as well the rest of the nation save a select few. He grew up as any lordling would, even becoming a temple knight but upon reaching adulthood the truth of his birth was revealed and he became troubled internally until he one day vanished from his homeland and forsook his last name in favor of one of his own: Kalcos. He quickly became a sell sword upon reaching Eorzea and was recruited to fight at cartenau. After the battle he roamed Eorzea doing odd jobs as an adventurer until he met a man who would become his teacher in the ways of the warrior. Once he had learned all he could he set out again to fight for the defenseless and the less fortunate until he joined the Ala Mighan resistance, but was wounded during a mission.Once he was better, Cyrus began to wander again, However as he passed through a small town he heard a rumor that a huge number of dragons had been seen heading for Ishgard recently and though Cyrus thought he had abandoned his homeland so long ago, the desire to protect it burned within his chest with the same ferocity it had once had. Cyrus quickly set out for Ishgard and quickly began aiding the Knights in anyway he could. Not wanting his identity to be revealed he wore a mask and hood to disguise himself.Eventually he joined a group to slay a primal lead by Raven Lyer and discovered he was unable to be tempered. When the truth about The Holy See and Ishgard itself came out Cyrus took it hard but most of all the revelation that dragons, most of the ones he had been killing, were at one point people destroyed him.
Upon the end of the dragon song war Cyrus put away his axe vowing to never use one again in repentance for all of the innocent blood he had spilled. He then moved on to a quiet life as a blacksmith until one day Raven found him and after hours of discussion convinced Cyrus to return to the fold as a member of the newly founded Dawn Vigil.
